Getting Better Teaching Results Through Accelerated Learning

Content
So, you've had enough of your students' short attention span, their drifting off, checking the phone all the time? -- Why not learn about, and use, the principles of Accelerated Learning!
Accelerated Learning is based on a particular way of presenting the given material, involving a special form of communication. It makes use of different pair and group formats, and entails active engagement and participation. Questions are key, and so is (scheduled) repetition work.
Accelerated Learning is a general approach, adaptable to all kinds of fields. It aims at boosting the students' confidence, holding them accountable for their own actions and thus their learning success.
Experience shows that the degree of involvement and, consequently, retention rate are noticeably higher compared to conventional approaches.
In this course you will learn (and experience!):
  • the basics of the Accelerated Learning (AL) approach,
  • the psychological/didactic principles underlying AL,
  • how to design your courses according to the AL scheme,
  • how to apply particular communication patterns in class,
  • how to raise the overall energy to achieve better results.
