Context
Projects and project management have become an integral part of our professional lives and can also be effectively used in teaching: As an instructor (teaching as a project), project management can support the efficient preparation, planning, implementation, and completion of a course series. Furthermore, project management tools can be applied to didactic course planning. For students, well-structured projects (projects in teaching) can offer significant added value in supporting the learning process and preparing them for professional practice. The fundamental prerequisite for students to successfully carry out projects in a way that supports learning is guidance from the instructors and the correct setup of the initiative as a project (rather than as a simple task or assignment).
