After attending the workshop, you will be able to
- perceive, identify and question your own biases
- discuss different options for how to act
- integrate recommendations into your daily work

We assume that the participation and the assumption of costs are discussed and approved with your superior, provided that the participation is in the interest of the service and takes place during working hours. By registering, you confirm that you have read and accepted the AGBs You are particularly aware of the cancellation and rebooking modalities and know that if you cancel 14 or less calendar days before the start of the seminar, the full seminar fee will be due. Cancellation must be made in writing by email.

Biases are stereotypes about certain groups of people or individuals that persons form and learn throughout their lives. Everyone, no matter the age, social class, gender or education holds unconscious beliefs that primarily serve as a filter and categorization to the magnitude of information we receive every moment. Consequently, we use mental shortcuts to complete missing information about others automatically. Within the university context, unconscious bias can influence our decision-making concerning appointment procedures, performance evaluation or personnel development.
Therefore, KIT offers a training to all employees and executives to get sensitized with this phenomena.
